Brew River opened in the spring of 2000 by Frank Hanna Sr. He has been in the restaurant business on the Eastern Shore since 1974 with various locations in Salisbury and Ocean City, MD and Wilmington and Fenwick Island, DE. The family owned company currently operate two restaurants, which include Brew River and their Fenwick Island location, Harpoon Hanna’s Restaurant & Bar. Since its opening Brew River has established itself as a unique, multifaceted business specializing in quality food service and dining, renowned banquet capabilities and an unequivocal nightlife with the best live entertainment.
Now a staple on the Delmarva Peninsula, Brew River has become the capital landmark in Salisbury to socialize.
In the last eightteen years, Brew has added an additional dining room to facilitate larger banquets bringing the private function capacity to approximately 300 people. The waterfront outdoor Dock Bar was also constructed providing Salisbury with its only outdoor bar and nightclub. As well as their outside veranda with fire pit overlooking the river, this is most likely Brew River’s most well known attribute, drawing patrons from Pennsylvania to Virginia, and a can’t miss pit-stop on the way to Ocean City, MD. In the spring of 2008, an additional bar was added as a showcase to an overall makeover to the outside area, creating more intimate seating and better ambiance.
The captivating sunsets overlooking the Port of Salisbury Marina and the Wicomico river makes for the best place to enjoy yourself in the area.
